What Is Xeomin®?
Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxin A) is similar to both BOTOX® and Dysport®. However, Xeomin® is a more purified version, said to isolate only the active protein which causes temporary muscle weakening. The typical duration of effect is approximately 3 months, but may last longer in some patients.

Similar to Dysport®, Xeomin® treatments generally take effect 3-4 days after treatment, sooner than BOTOX®. Patients can expect to see the most improvement at 30 days.
What Is the Recovery Period After Xeomin®?
Most patients report minimal discomfort or pain and pain relievers are generally not required. Redness at the injection site is common and usually resolves within a few hours. If present, mild swelling and bruising may last a few and can be treated with cold compresses. Makeup and other cosmetic products may be used immediately to conceal any redness or minor bruising.
